You will also have free practice space if scheduled during non-peak hours (12:45–6:00 p.m.).

Anne’s proudest moment coaching is when she sees how happy they are when they dance. It makes her happy. She really feels that she makes a difference in the lives of the people she teaches.

Team PhotoFrom Anne’s perspective, the biggest mistake she sees dancers make is trying to perform advance steps too early. She would rather see a student dance the basics really well than try to do the advanced steps poorly.  Most students want to move on to the fancy stuff before they have mastered the basics. Social dancing is easy and fun to learn. When just beginning, you will spend time on very basic patterns, but you will learn more than just steps. You will learn how to “move” to the music. Social dancing builds skills such as leading, following, rhythm, and much more. You will learn how to become comfortable on the dance floor. Once you have mastered the basics, you will move on to advanced lessons.

After teaching at DanceCenter for 5 years, Anne bought the studio one year ago on July 1, 2015.  She taught at DanceCenter for 5 years before she bought it. She wanted to continue a legacy of dance for the students that she was currently teaching and give opportunities to many more.  Anne believes dance makes people happy! Her goal for this year is to create a ballroom performing team for kids.
