Edge Studio of Dance Interview with Kim Kelliher and Jeannie Wozniak

Kim Kelliher and Jeannie Wozniak, the co-founders and co-owners of Edge Studio of Dance in Canton, Massachusetts, relate that they have strived to make Edge Studio a 13warm and nurturing environment to foster and encourage the love of dance.  There are three levels of dance training offered at Edge Studio so there is a fit for everyone and all types of dancers from the recreation dancers to the advanced company members. They pride themselves on making their dancers well-rounded in many styles of dance.  Edge Studio offers many styles of dance – ballet,  jazz, lyrical jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, improv, acrobatics and technique classes. Edge has also been recognized for its excellent in acrobatic training and the studio is honored to be certified through Acrobatic Arts.

Dance Connection Interview with Krista Wagner

In the opinion of the Owner and Director, Krista Wagner, the most important things in dance are technique and entertainment! She pushes each of her dancers not only to improve their dance technique each week but to be the most entertaining and engaging dancers that they can be! Future Dance Center Interview with Denise and Gino Vaccaro

gino and denise vaccaroAccording to Denise and Gino Vaccaro, the Owners and Directors of the award winning Future Dance Center in Hamburg, New York, they are a family! Gino and Denise feel truly blessed to be given the opportunity to guide and mold young dancers. A job they take very seriously.  Living in Hollywood helped them to know what tools a dancer needs to have a professional career.

In Gino’s opinion, they give ALL dancers the skill set and knowledge to dance professionally in the industry. Future Dance strives to create individual artists. Focal Point Dance Studios Interview with Amanda Tae

salute kidsAccording to Amanda Tae, the Director of Focal Point Dance Studios in Miami, Florida, Focal Point is a home away from home where young dancers are trained for excellence not only in dance but in life. Their teachers give instruction for many different styles of dance while leading by example; showing and teaching students respect, discipline, and how to leave one’s ego at the door.

In Amanda’s 11 years owning a dance studio, the main difference she has witnessed between her studio and others there in Miami is that the Art is held in highest esteem at Focal Point. They aim to produce dancers who are technically excellent and personally mature, well adjusted, and responsible. At Focal Point, they believe that no one’s ego, nor any dollar amount, should ever cause the Art to be compromised.

Amanda says it is impossible for her to name her proudest moment, but she says that the most pride comes to her not while her students are there at the studio. She is most proud seeing the kind of people her students become after they graduate.
