Donna Walton, the founder and owner of Atomic Allure in Oakland, California, encourages women to be ATOMIC –Admirable, Talented,Opinionated, Motivated,Intelligent, Confident. Atomic Allure strives to provide physical and mental empowerment through dance, fitness and body awareness. They are more than just a dance and fitness studio. Their dance form is Pole Dancing which gives the whole body a workout. According to Donna, they pride themselves on having a nonjudgmental environment. They are melting pot of women from all different backgrounds who support and encourage each other and love to see the students grow and feel Atomic.
Donna’s proudest moment coaching is the fact that she has had an impact on helping so many women feel comfortable, welcomed and empowered is pure bliss.
Donna believes the biggest mistake dancers make is failing to understand the importance of nutrition and wellness. To fix this problem, she believes these dancers need to learn the basics of nutrition. Making healthy choices instead of taking things to drastic levels and engaging in extreme dieting and detoxing. A happy healthy body functions better than a weak, malnourished body.
Her goal for this year is to continue to grow their main location and begin to offer various services for women in health, nutrition, fitness and career advancement. They offer group and private pole dancing instruction, in-home lessons, pole parties, photo shoots, personal training, pole rentals, performances, Girls Night Out, makeup sessions and More.
Some of the activities they have provided include parties where they invite you to an amazing night of fun! They tell you to pull out your sassy heels and bring your girl friends! They have wonderful vendors come out to show everyone some wonderful products , give demonstrations, raffle off prizes, provide a live fashion show, performances, wine, food and more!

They have also provided Girls’ Night Out events with a night filled with fun activities designed to break their guests away from their daily routines and have a night of laughs, make a new friend, learn something new and fun and go home with a couple treats!
Donna started Atomic Allure because she has always had a passion for dance and fitness since she was little. Since her first dance class, Donna knew it was something she wanted to do the rest of my life. She has taught dance and fitness classes all over the United States for the past 11 years and when she was introduced to pole fitness, she fell in love! It was the perfect combination of fitness and dance. For Donna, the continued journey of learning and growing stays exciting every day.
Her main goal is to continue to inspire women both in their personal and professional lives. It is so important to be confident and take ownership of your body and health. She is passionate in everything she does and loves being able to share her passion and love for dance and fitness with the community. Their past may not always be the brightest but it can be the fuel to their futures. Donna believes she has been blessed to cross paths with many different people from different walks of life and know it has brought her to where she is today. Donna says, “I stand proud, I stand strong, I am ATOMIC!”
