Kathleen Connolly, the Owner of Connolly Dance Arts, tells us that her dance studio is different from other dance studios because they offer a structured dance environment for both recreational and competitive dancers. Their dancers will remain at the same level for two to three years as they perfect their technique while having fun. According to Kathleen, the biggest mistakes most dancers make are comparing themselves to each other instead of focusing on their own individual progress and coming to class but not pushing themselves. Dancers 
need to set their own goals and then use the instruction time to work towards them.

As a young dancer, Kathleen idolized her dance teacher and wanted to do what she did. She learned a lot from that teacher and has taken classes on running a dance studio to continue to improve my business. She loves working with her students and connecting with them through dance.
Connolly Dance Arts’ studio has age appropriate music, costumes and choreography. They believe in growing strong individuals through dance.
Established in 1994, the Connolly Dance Arts Intensive Dancer Program provides dancers with the opportunity to take master classes in a variety of disciplines of dance, attend conventions, compete, and perform. These students train at the studio year-round to continue the muscle development that is so fundamental in developing strong technical dancers. In addition, many of them participate in dance companies, sports, and other extra-curricular activities at their schools. The CDA Competition Company has won numerous gold and platinum awards for their group and solo performances. In addition, the Performing Company performs in numerous shows and benefits throughout the area.
