Dancer’s Edge dance instructors have trained with some of the best in the industry, including dancers and choreographers for stars like Jennifer Lopez and Brittany Spears. Many trained directly with the likes of Darrin Henson, Dena Rizzo, Savion Glover, Mikhail Baryshnikov and others. Each teacher has been personally selected because they represent the best in the industry. Our advanced level instructors are among the top names on convention circuits throughout the country, and each of our teachers continues to expand their abilities with the most current styles and techniques.
Providing you with the tools and information you need directly contributes to the experience you and your dancer ultimately enjoy. Dancers Edge understands the importance of keeping our members well-informed. We email statements directly to parents each month, and our calendar schedules are posted both in the studio and are online. Upon enrollment, each dancer receives a password to the Members-Only section of our web site, with the latest news, schedule changes and more. With Dancers Edge, the information you need is always at your fingertips – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Dancers Edge prides itself on having the best dance facilities in the Triad. Our Winston-Salem facility has nearly 3,000 square feet and two dance rooms. Our Kernersville location is the largest dance facility in the Triad with over 10,500 square feet. It has three large dance rooms and a full-size tumbling gym. Both facilities have cameras in the classroom and television monitors in the lobby (so parents can easily observe classes without interrupting the flow of class), and “floating” dance floors that help reduce injuries by providing “give” to dancers as they practice.
Dancers Edge provides the broadest range of quality dance instruction in the Triad. From ballet to hip hop, and from tap to tumbling, we have something for everyone. We limit most class sizes to allow for better individual attention. Many classes include both an instructor and an assistant to give each student the training needed to learn and grow. Every student receives recognition and a trophy at the end of the dance year to award their hard work and dedication. The demand for our classes has grown at a remarkable rate, so enroll early to ensure class placement!
