10 Best Dance Studios in Los Angeles

Our community primarily revolves around dancing to Swing & Jazz music. 9. Emma Mesrobian Dance

Emma Mesrobian Dance is a boutique dance studio independently owned by Emma Mesrobian driven by her passion, love and education for dance. She received her Bachelors in Dance from Cal State Long Beach. The love and passion she has for dance is endless. She was the co-founder and artistic director of Couture Dance Company, to great reviews! She has danced with Istanbul National Ballet, California Contemporary Ballet and Deborah Rosen Dancers, amongst working on various projects. She trained, danced and received her Ballroom Certification from the renowned Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars. She was on the “Biggest Loser” TV Show, teaching the contestants Salsa! She is honored that the universe has connected her with such unique and humble souls and gets to teach them to dance and feel the magic of dance.

8. Santa Monica Hip Hop Dance

Lisa Kellogg is famed as a Choreographer, Dancer, and Teacher. Her charismatic style, consisting of Hip Hop, Pop and Street Dance, has fascinated audiences in America, Europe and Japan for years. People love her high energy, choreography, teaching and dancing.

Lisa teaches Hip Hop dance classes, workshops and private lessons. She also is a Wedding Dance choreographer and MC-DJ-Entertainer at Dance Parties.

7. Studio A Dance

STUDIO A DANCE is a neighborhood studio in Silver Lake (Silverlake), Los Angeles, California. We offer classes in several forms of dance — Ballet, and Jazz. We also have ongoing classes in cardio dance-workout, capoeira, yoga, fencing and children’s dance of all types.

The Sweat Spot is Ryan Heffington’s warm and welcoming dance studio in the heart of Silverlake. We’re a 2000 square foot space and a hub of the east side arts community. Our classes include ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, yoga, Pilates and a variety of emerging dance styles specific to the 18 amazing teachers and choreographers who call The Sweat Spot home.

3. Edge Performing Arts Center

EDGE is world renowned as a leader in commercial dance and L.A. style. Established in (date temporarily removed due to it being an answer for an ongoing contest), we offer beginning through professional open classes 7 days a week, 350 days a year.  Class styles include Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Contemporary Jazz, Modern Fusion, Theatre Dance, Cabaret, Breakin’, Movement for Actors, Turns, Salsa, Belly Dancing, and Yoga for Dancers.

I just came to LA and I realized that I could find any dance classes on https://www.dancelifemap.com/ (we use it a lot in my country) so I’m really happy that I’ve stumbled upon your article here. A friend of mine suggest The Lab Creative Arts Studio he said it’s one of the best, but I’ll check out the Edge first. Thanks again.
