In the meantime here is some quick insights about this studio from their website.

Broadway Dance CenterSince 1984, Broadway Dance Center has earned a reputation in the global dance community as a beacon of excellence in dance education. BDC is renowned for its unparalleled Faculty and for offering a diverse array of dance disciplines under one roof. Our continued dedication to the international dance community, state-of-the-art studios, and our location in the heart of the Broadway theater district in New York City make us the ultimate destination for dancers around the globe.

Broadway Dance Center’s rich history starts in New York City in the early 1980s, when dancers flocked to NYC to train and vie for a spot on the fabled Broadway stages — the unitards roamed free and shows like A Chorus Line and Cats had created a new niche for beautifully trained dancers. Choreographers like Michael Bennett, Bob Fosse, and Jerome Robbins were creating brilliance on stage, while teachers like Luigi, Jamie Rogers, Henry LeTang, Phil Black, David Howard, and Frank Hatchett were preparing dancers to become the versatile and technical performers needed for these great choreographers. Then with the emergence of MTV and the music video era, ever more dancers came to train, and BDC evolved to become the one-stop shop for dancers of all levels, styles, and dreams.

Comprising more than 80 professionals, our faculty is fully committed to your development and training. You are sure to find a favorite teacher in this diverse group! Our teachers work professionally in various aspects of their field and bring their expertise and knowledge into the classroom. Information on each teacher is accessible on our faculty pages or in the Faculty Bio Book available in our studio lobby.

All members of our staff work as a team to ensure the studio is run in a highly efficient and well-organized manner. From program administrators to event coordinators, BDC employs only dedicated individuals who love what they do, and whose primary goal is to support our growth and vitality.

BDC offers many programs and workshops including our Children & Teen Program (CTP), International Student Visa Program (ISVP), The Professional Semester, Summer Professional Semester, The BDC Training Program, Work-Study Program as well as many ongoing workshops such as our Absolute Beginner Workshops and Rockette Experience.
