Courtney Kremler – Dancer of the Week

Courtney KremlerBDancewear has chosen Courtney Kremler as our dancer of the week. She is not only a dancer but also a writer, photographer and a person. Dancers sometimes get the idea from others that they aren’t really people just because they do non-human things. Courtney believes it is really important that it is known that dancers, just like her, are people and they work hard and make mistakes.

She started in dance when she was little. Her mom wanted her to do pretty much everything so she could see what she liked the best and dance really stuck with her. When her studio moved, she stopped dancing. It was probably the hardest three years of her life. She knew she had to find a new studio.

Courtney’s happiest moment in dancing was most likely last year at nationals in Wildwood, New Jersey. Her entire team was in one dance number and it took sixth place in the nation. It was an awesome feeling to receive that award with her entire team.

She has always wanted to go skydiving. She knows it is not related to dance but she feels like she would get the same adrenaline rush that she gets when she is on stage. She thinks that “would be pretty cool.”

Courtney says that buying from BDancewear was probably one of her best experiences while buying dance clothes. She also says that she received emails and phone calls from the company in an effort to make sure her order was the best it could be. They even went out of their way to include her items with a shipment for another girl from Courtney’s dance studio in order to make the shipping cheaper.

Her goal for this year is to get her aerials down this year. She has done it a few times but never on solid wood floor. She also wants to get better at turns, especially since they are featured in her part of the group dance.

Courtney hopes that even if dance does not take her to a future career in dancing, it will always be there for her and a part of her life. Dancing is something that makes her happy and she hopes it will always keep doing that.

Please post a comment if you have had any experience with Courtney Kremler.
