We have not yet had the opportunity to interview the Ohio State University Dance Team, if you are associated with the Ohio State University Dance Team please have someone from the team email us at Brittany@BDancewear.com to set up an interview (only takes a few minutes and it’s free).

In the meantime here is some quick insights about this Ohio State University Dance Team from their website.

Ohio State Dance TeamThe Ohio State University Dance Team works to promote and uphold school spirit and Buckeye pride and to represent the University on a national level. Currently, the team performs at all home football games, home men’s basketball games, and select women’s basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, and wrestling events throughout the year. In addition, the team plays an integral role in the Ohio State Community by performing at pep rallies, parades, and other University-related events throughout Columbus. OSUDT also competes annually on the national level at the UDA Collegiate National Championship in Orlando, Florida. In the past three years, the team has placed in the Top 5. Most recently in 2014, they placed 3rd in the Jazz Division and 2nd in the Pom Division. The team practices two to three times per week and attends bi-weekly workouts resulting in a commitment of around 15 to 20 hours per week. Members of the team have access to all of the student-athlete resources that Ohio State has to offer including priority scheduling, tutoring, a nutritionist, etc. The best way to gain exposure to the team is to attend one or more of the several clinics that OSUDT holds throughout the team.
