Tiffany & Company Dance Studio Interview with Tiffany Renaudin

Dancing LadyAccording to Tiffany Renaudin, Owner and Artistic Director of Tiffany & Co. Dance Studio (“TCDS”), their studio prides themselves on being a family. Tiffany has made it a personal goal to know each student, their parent or guardian and all those involved with their dance education.

TCDS strives to give every student, whether recreational or competitive, the best dance education they can and the attention she/he deserves. They seek to accommodate students of various age groups, talents and tastes. Their dance teachers currently are qualified to teach dance classes in the following genres: Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Competition Technique.

Tiffany’s dance experience spans over 25 years, fourteen of which has been as an instructor. She started dancing competitively at the age of 8 years old and has earned numerous accolades including national and regional title awards and several overall high score awards over the years. Following her footsteps, her students currently hold titles for regional competitions and have won overall awards at regionals this past year. Several of her students have been recognized at competitions and conventions with invitations to continue studies in New York, often with scholarships. Tiffany attends workshops and conventions throughout the country in an effort to seek cutting edge trends. Currently, she is a member of Dance Teachers United.

Three GirlsIt is TCDS’ mission to provide physically stimulating, fun, and informative dance education while boosting self-confidence. Accordingly, Tiffany & Co. is committed to providing an atmosphere that is safe and where students can learn and expand their skills and understanding with dance.

Their philosophy is comprehensive: they have classes to fit all tastes and are happy to help accommodate students of all skill levels and ages. Whether the student wishes to refresh some long lost dance moves or are looking to explore an entirely new pastime, you are always in good hands with Tiffany & Co. Dance Studio.

Although she is very proud of their gifted teachers who bring their own individual methodology to the education of their dancers, Tiffany’s proudest moments coaching have come from being able to stand behind, or next to, her former students who are now teachers and watching them watch their own work on stage. Also, she absolutely loves to watch their graduating seniors every year and seeing in them the culmination of their dance education.

She is also very proud of TCDS’ award winning Competition Team which competes on a regional and national level. Membership on the competition dance team is by invitation only. Each team member must take at least three hours of dance classes each week and are encouraged, and have received scholarships, to attend conventions in the Gulf Coast area.

Lady in RedIn Tiffany’s opinion, the biggest mistake she sees dancers make is not coming to class consistently, especially ballet. She believes students should take advantage of every moment they have the opportunity to be in a class. Whether it is a recreational class, a technique class, a convention class, or most importantly ballet class, the students should embrace every moment!

Her goal is to have another positive year with her students. She looks forward to enjoying every moment, even the not so happy at the time moments. The way Tiffany sees it every moment and every mistake is an opportunity to learn.

Tiffany was prompted to start Tiffany & Co. because she was following a dream she had when she was very little. She had a vision of how she thought a studio should be run, how students and clients should be treated. Tiffany taught at several studios along her journey and has received some excellent advice and experienced some things that she felt could have gone differently. These are all lessons that she takes into consideration in the daily operation of the studio.

  1. You will not find a better dance studio in the metro area. Dedicated staff and exceptional instruction. Wonderful experience for children of all ages.

  2. I have known this young lady since she was in her teens. She is a beautiful dancer and I am so proud of her achieving her dream. I recommend her school to everyone.

  3. I don’t dance at Tiffany and Co., but I did have the opportunity of having Mrs. Tiffany as my dance teacher for 9 years of my dance career. She is more than just a dance teacher, but also a role model to all. There’s no one better to have as your kids dance instructor.

  4. Tiffany & Company Dance Studio is definitely a family atmosphere. My granddaughter has been attending 4 of her 5 years in dance and joined the competition team this year. I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience it is for her and the other girls in her classes. I recommend this dance studio every chance I get.
